    Highlights

    • Mainly used as a common base system on top of which other appliances could be built and tested, this AMI contains the minimal Win Server 2022 Datacenter Base install and enough software packages to run within AWS, bring up an [RDP Server and allow users to login](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/connecting_to_windows_instance.html#connect-rdp).
    • In all our Win 2022 Server AMIs, the primary partition and coresponding filesystem are automatically extended at launch if volume is bigger than the default 30 GiB one.
    • Within our Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Full Base AMIs, [Enhanced Networking using ENA](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/WindowsGuide/enhanced-networking-ena.html) (i.e., Elastic Network Adapter) is enabled. All Windows Server 2022 security updates available at the image release date are included.
