Very active and well delivered service
What do you like best about the product?
It's a strong GRC platform for program management and does work much better than competitors products such as OneTrust Cert Automation which we transitioned from this year. OneTrust bought Tugboat and rebranded to cert automation and the product had been neglected and became difficult to use. Drata is a breath of fresh air.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Maybe the upcharge on each compliance module but they have to generate revenue right?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Organizing our controls and helping manage them more smoothly.

SOC 2 Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is vital for our continuous control monitoring & provides a level of process insight we weren't capable of prior. Our driven approach to security is now backed by linked evidence, accountability, & reporting statistics. The Drata team is fantastic & one of the best vendor relationships I've experienced in my career. I've used Drata across companies & hope to continue to use them in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are expensive; the cost of adding additional frameworks is too pricey & has discouraged us on making an additional purchase decision unless absolute need requires.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps monitor our internal control structure in real-time & gives us visibility & ownership while enabling a proper division of labor among our staff & departments.
Impressive and user friendly security and compliance automation product
What do you like best about the product?
I had the opportunity to work on Drata platform for ISO 27001 certification work. The features of Drata aroung controls mapping, evidence gathering, policy implementation, automated controls testing, data sharing with the external auditors, trust center etc., were very user friendly and helpful. The support and guidance provided by the CSM, Elizabeth John had been timely, professional and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
The policy center display could be offered in a web page format with search function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helped in compliance automation and brought efficiency in ISO 27001 certification process.

There’s really nothing to dislike about Drata. The platform delivers exactly what it promises, efficiently supporting our compliance process.

Drata is solving the challenge of navigating SOC 2 compliance by providing an easy-to-use platform that simplifies monitoring and documentation. As someone going through SOC 2 for the first time, I appreciate how Drata makes complex concepts more understandable, allowing me to confidently manage compliance requirements without feeling overwhelmed.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata exceeded our expectations during our SOC 2 audit. The platform’s ability to itemize all controls, paired with clear and detailed explanations, made navigating the audit process a breeze. Its integration with Microsoft 365 to automate the detection of controls added another layer of efficiency, saving us significant time and effort. On top of that, whenever we encountered something we didn’t fully understand, Elizabeth was always there and helped us resolve every issue we had. She consistently provided clarification and guidance each week, ensuring we stayed on track and felt supported throughout the entire process. Drata is an invaluable tool for simplifying compliance! Our CSM Elizabeth was great, she kept us on track throughout the entire year, she deserves a lot of credit for getting us to the finish line and I hope we continue to work with her.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not everything is as straight forward as one would think. Drata looks for specific names on things such as compliance policies in intune. If it isn't named exactly as Drata expects it to be named then it doesnt register. Not every auditor works with Drata but thats not Dratas fault. We just had to find one that did.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata does three things extremely well: 1) it automates a ton of our security processes, 2) it centralizes everything related to security for our company (automated or not), and 3) it offers outstanding customer support. Combined, it makes it a no-brainer for us to work with Drata. Relatively speaking, we're a fairly small company but we work with many global conglomerates and are able to earn their trust thanks to our enhanced security posture, which wouldn't be possible without Drata.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're new to the security ecosystem the way I was, then it can take a while to wrap your head around terms, concepts, and what lives where. My understanding is that they did an initial onboarding with our company, but I wasn't handling much about security yet so I missed it. Our Drata client experience representative has been great to get me up to speed, but in the early days I was pretty lost at all the terms and tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us centralize and administer all of our company's security efforts. It enables a small company like ours to have a robust security and compliance program without having to double the size of our team.

Working with Drata Has Been Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
Our rep Craig has been spectacular. Our organization isn't always the easiest to work with, so his infinite patience and expertise has been critical to our success with our SOC-2 audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major, I guess near the beginning we had some technical issues getting accounts synced, but it wasn't really that big of a problem.

As we go through our first SOC-2 audit, the Drata platform allows us to track our progress and identify areas we need to address.

I absolutely love Drata's ISMS Dashboard view. It seamlessly connects our entire IT stack, providing real-time insights into areas or team members that might need attention. The latest Risk Management Module, aligned with ISO/IEC controls, is a game-changer—it has significantly streamlined our compliance processes. Additionally, the team at Drata is incredibly innovative, making security and compliance not just manageable but actually enjoyable.

Nothing to disklike about Drata, even the pricing is very competitive!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we onboarded to Drata three years ago, we faced a tight five-month deadline to achieve ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701 certification. Thanks to Drata, we were able to meet this goal in just three months. Since then, we've smoothly navigated our annual audits, and both our security and privacy posture have significantly matured alongside Drata’s product. The platform’s continuous innovation and alignment with regulatory requirements have made compliance management much more efficient and effective for our organization.
