Drata makes compliance easy
What do you like best about the product?
Drata includes plenty of tools to facilitate the compliance journey, ranging from boiler-plate policies to activity monitoring.
What do you dislike about the product?
The on-boarding flow could use some improvement, as it isn't immediately apparent what one should work on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a small start-up, we did not have any prior compliance experience. Drata eliminated the need to build out a compliance team or hire a consulting firm and allowed us to build our capabilities in house with our current headcount.

A good platform for becoming SOC2 compliant with excellent customer service
What do you like best about the product?
Good UI and well organized set of tasks to reach compliance. Support is also incredible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their integrations with AWS can take up to 24 hours to sync sometimes and it isn't clear if the data is fresh or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Becoming compliant with various organization so we can streamline onboarding of our paid users

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the way Drata pulls data together from other sources via various integrations. Additionlly, I love the automations that can be leveraged via an MDM integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
As this was my first use of Drata, finding some controls were a little difficult, but this was because I was comparing it to how things were labeled and organized in another product. Drata isn't doing anything incorrectly, I just had to shift my mindset as to how I was searching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is assisting with all of our compliance audits. The way in which they collect and present data for an audit is easily the best I've used.
Using Drata's platform for SOC2 audit/certification
What do you like best about the product?
Drata platform is an intuitive, but comprehensive way of getting yourself ready for numerous security-based certifcations. I like how easy is to set it up and running and more importatly, the people (CSMs, Consultants...) working in Drata are professional and understanding, which is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find any problems or issues using the Drata platform or talking with Drata employees. Yes, the UI have some design collisions, but I reported that, along with some product feedback to our CSM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is giving as a platform where we can integrate our assets/infrastucture and make Drata execute monitoring tests (which helps us see what/where do we comply or not) and give us templates to write security polices.
An outstanding product backed by an excellent support staff
What do you like best about the product?
Drata's portal has done an amazing job of facilitating and simplifying our recent compliance journey to SOC 2 Type 2. And it is supported by a team of super knowledgable security gurus.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take effort to onboard an orgnaiztion, but Drata's team helps every step of the way with this one-time task.

Drata speeds up and simplifies our compliance tasks through a really intuative portal design.
A great service to get your SOC II report, regardless of experience!
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Drata is the amount of human interaction that is involved in the onboarding process, there's always a face to talk to or someone to reach out to for help. That is rarely needed as the platform itself is very intuitive and easy to pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Throughout the time I've spent on drata, it's been very difficult to find something that I dislike, everything is straight forward and anything that isn't is immediately addressed by our point of contact or the support team and help center.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us achieve our SOC II report. It is benefiting us in the sense that, as an early stage startup, we rarely have resources to allocate outside of direct work on our product, so the fact that I alone have been able to manage all of the tasks necessary through the platform has been nothing short of a lifesaver as our company works quickly to expand to a new type of customers.

The software, the quickness in their support, and the auditor Chat. Always quick to understand and give me the information I need. Greta is also great to work with

Best Compliance Product
What do you like best about the product?
Drata has made our life very easy and it helped us a lot in SOC2 audit. I like the live monitoring of the controls in Drata Trust Center.
What do you dislike about the product?
All is good as of now as we do not have any cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping us to get the policies ready for the SOC2 audit which is a big benefit for us. It has live monitoring in Drata Trust Center where we can show our live security posture to our customers. Craig Macaraeg is helping us a lot in getting all our queries resolved in time. He listens to our query and also helped us to do pre-audit check before our SOC2 audit. Kudos to Craig and thank you Craig again for all your help and support.
How to seamlessly perform compliance within your company
What do you like best about the product?
Everything is at your fingertips. You can walk through the gui with ease and perform compliance tasks related to your requirements. Our Customer Success Manager (Lizzie) has helped us immensely in understanding the product and our needs regarding compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are none! We love our Drata instance and knowing the state of our compliance
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working through our SOC2 Type2 and ISO27001 compliance certifications
HIPAA/SOC2 compliance is no longer a massive headache with Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Outside of the tool, which is simple and intuitive, I've been really impressed with the customer success manager (Sam Livingston) assigned to my organization. Our bi-weekly check-ins are straightforward, efficient, and helpful. Sam is extremely knowledgeable in regards to the Drata tool as well as SOC2 and HIPAA.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drata overall is intuitive and clear. Sometimes I get a little confused on what proof is required for certain controls, but I've found the customer success manager assigned to my organization to be really helpful in filling those gaps.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is helping the organization I work for become SOC2 and HIPAA compliant.
