    Overview

This is a repackaged software product wherein additional charges apply for hardening, bundling and support. Docker is an open source platform that automates the deployment of applications inside lightweight, portable containers. These containers are isolated from each other and from the underlying Ubuntu 14.04 lts, ensuring that your applications run consistently across different environments. With Docker, you can easily package your application along with its dependencies, libraries, and configuration files into a single container image. This image can then be deployed on any Ubuntu 14.04 lts or AWS that supports Docker, making it incredibly versatile and flexible. Docker provides a range of benefits for developers and operations teams. It allows for faster and more efficient application deployment, as containers can be quickly started and stopped without the need for lengthy setup processes. Docker also enables better resource utilization, as multiple containers can run on a single machine, sharing the host's resources while remaining isolated from each other. Additionally, Docker simplifies the management of complex application architectures by providing tools for container orchestration and scaling.
