64-bit (x86) Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

    Amazon Machine Image (AMI)

An AMI is a virtual image that provides the information required to launch an instance. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different AMIs as you need.

    Version release notes
    1. vMX100 can be deployed on m4.large instance type, 2) New AMI is built as a Linux/UNIX type instead of the RHEL type. This change only relates to AWS billing of the instance and no vMX functionality is effected.

Waiting for the Native AWS TansitGateway integration

    Reviewed on Jun 16, 2023
    Purchase verified by AWS

Capable product, but after 3 years still waiting for the native AWA TransitGateway integration (using E.g. GRP/IGMP), the current solution with a Lambda function and writing to a local route table is not sufficient

    Easy to deploy and use

Easy to deploy and use, it is good to have a VPN tunnel from MX on-premise to the cloud.
